Rational Imaging PACS

Hi,

I was just browsing through the internet to see what is out there about PACS and related topics, stumbled upon the Intuitive Imaging Website, which was originally known as Rational Imaging. I was glad to see that they are back in the business with a lot of new features and software and hardware applications. The total solution seemed pretty rational and provides the integration of RIS and modality worklist server. I still wanted to investigate further about the storage of images, quality control and the Storage commit option as many of the older PACS did not have this important feature. ImageQube the web version of the PACS seems more streamlined and geared towards a more useful interface.
This was today's conclusion of the PACS search, just wanted to keep myself informed of the latest and greatest out there.

My PACS Experience

I have been working in the hospital environment for about 7 years now. My basic functions have always been related to the installation, integration and management of PACS systems with in the Radiology departments. I have worked with several PACS so far namely, Canon, Stentor, KinetDX, eFilms and other PACS supporting software like PACSscan and RImage. It has been great; I loved the technology and what it does for the health care industry. It basically has changed the use and perspective of computers with in health care environment. Just wish to keep working with PACS and enjoy making computers talk to each other, send and retrieve data and images and watch people get better by the help of the PACS implementation.
